Richard J. Ong, MBA

QA, Manufacturing

Rick oversees and leads Nanovista’s CMC and QA. He is an industry leader with 30+ years of biotech experience in manufacturing and quality assurance. Recently, he supported the approval of a liposomal product, hosting the FDA pre-approval inspection with the FDA.

Daniel Gaddy, PhD

Preclinical, Manufacturing

Daniel supports Nanovista’s preclinical development and CMC. He is a strategic leader with extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, business intelligence and deep scientific expertise, and a broad knowledge of drug discovery and development.

Christine Allen, PhD

Director, Co-Founder

Dr. Christine Allen is the Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost for Strategic Initiatives at the University of Toronto. Prior to this role, Dr. Allen was Interim Dean of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy also at the University of Toronto, where she is a Professor and was the GlaxoSmithKline Chair in Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery. Dr. Allen is a world-renowned leader in nanomedicine and image-guided drug delivery and her expertise led to the co-founding of Nanovista, where she led the founder group in raising and closing the seed round.

Jinzi Zheng, PhD, MBA

Director, Co-Founder

Dr. Jinzi Zheng plays a pivotal role in the development and commercialization of the Nanovista technology platform. Dr. Zheng is currently a Senior Associate at the CPP Investment Board and was formerly a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with active involvement in the Healthcare, Biopharma, and Medtech practices. Prior to joining BCG, Dr. Zheng was a Scientist at University Health Network, the largest academic health research institution in Canada, and an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. As a Principal Investigator, Dr. Zheng led numerous collaborations with leading Biopharma and Medtech companies.

Michael List

Director

Michael List is the founding partner at GreenSky Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early stage Canadian companies in the medtech, IT, and clean technology sectors, as well as a practicing lawyer and founding partner of Ormston List Frawley LLP. Michael has co-founded several businesses, including a multi-national computer hardware distributor and a currency exchange brokerage. In addition to Nanovista, Michael currently holds a directorship with Cyclica Inc. and AOMS Technologies Inc.
